The Penn Wynne Presbyterian Church is a congregation of “many hearts walking together,” welcoming people from all walks of life. Pastor Lisa has four academic degrees, two from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland and two from the Lutheran Seminary in Philadelphia, but she says it is the “degree” of life struggle that has equipped her the most for ministry. She is a person in recovery, has been divorced, raised three children as a single parent, is a solo pastor, and a member of the LGBTQ community.
